Text chat is metered differently depending on whether you're a free or subscribed user.
Free daily messages
Free (Starter) users get 30 free text messages per day. Once you hit that, you can keep chatting by spending 2 PeepCoins per message, or subscribe for unlimited text chat.
The daily counter resets every 24 hours.
When free limits tighten
If you use up your free daily messages several days in a row, the free plan gets a little more restrictive — the daily allowance temporarily drops to 10 messages per day.
It's just a nudge for very heavy free usage. You can always:
- Spend 2 PeepCoins per message to keep going, or
- Subscribe to remove the limit entirely.
💡 Tip
Subscribers never deal with daily limits — text chat is unlimited on every paid tier.
