💡 Tip
Changing your handle changes your link, so pick one you're happy to share. (A very long handle makes a long link — the panel will warn you.)
Turn on notifications and you'll get a ping — plus a small coin bonus for enabling them — whenever a referral reward unlocks.
The three rewards
You earn PeepCoins in three ways as your invited friends do things:

| Buys PeepCoins | 20% of the coins they buy | Counts for their first 3 purchases. |

Why a reward sometimes doesn't appear
The most common question is "my friend signed up — where are my coins?" The sign-up reward is intentionally gated to prevent abuse:
❗ Important
The 50-coin sign-up reward only unlocks after your friend has been active for 1 day and has actually spent 50 PeepCoins. A brand-new account that hasn't done anything yet won't trigger it.
Other rules:
- You can't refer yourself.
- The coin-purchase reward only counts for a friend's first 3 purchases.
- The subscription reward is paid once, on a friend's first subscription.
Tracking your earnings
Your User Panel shows your total PeepCoins earned, broken down by sign-ups, coin purchases, and subscriptions — so you can see exactly where your rewards came from.
